For our production logos, we took a picture of a red beret and a pair of red gloves using a hue camera that plugged into our mac book put a filter on top from photobooth. Over that we put the name of our production company, 'Indigo Studios' using Imovie . We also had a second production company called speed media and for this logo we did a stop motion animation. For we plugged the hue camera into our mac and a had a small toy car on a piece of paper that said speed media. we took pictures of the car , in-between shots we moved it to make look like it was driving. after that, we imported it to imove to put sound effects on a car screeching round a corner.
Various items and props that all linked together to seem like a murder mystery were laid out on a table covered in black cloth and then filmed. Some of the props included photos of people and cut out from news papers , and a map and passports to make it look like an escape was planned. The camera was held above the table and glided over the items stopping on important bits of information like a news article for missing people. This was done to bring the audience's attention to it. In the end of the shot blood covered money was placed down and a candle was blown out to suggest death.
We filmed me wearing a red beret because the movie is called lady in red and I'm shooting Eloise because its about murder. There is also a clip of me following Audrey to show that I'm stalking her.
In the stop motion animation of our logo we put in a sound effect of a car swerving when the toy car turns around. The song 'We'll meet again' is playing throughout the whole intro , which includes the live action and the table top shots to convey the vintage vibe. We did this by downloading the audio and adding it to the film in imovie. The film title is 'Lady in Red' because the killer wears red. In the table the top shots names of actors and the director are edited in also using imovie.
Over all I think the production went very well. Every one did their jobs nicely. It was quite challenging to figure how to fade the song out at the end at first but Eloise figured it out.
